Just look who is in overall second place… why, it is MOG! Mighty, mighty Mog, king of battles, lord of campaigns, jujitsu instructor of duels. Fear me! For I am MOG the Merciless!

There's a new poll for you to take.

I will add to my poll answer: The game needs to be rolled back to when it was actually playable.

I believe that option is covered under "I want it my way" or something, isn't it?

I notice that only Bestia and I have completed one of each game type in the last six months… it makes me number 2, which is crazy, but you guys are all letting me get away with it, so… good! Don't do the obvious thing and play a duel or battle, that might make YOU number 2!

Any last minute tie-breaker for the POTM vote?

Here's what was called a "Tom Swiftie" joke. These were named for Tom Swift, a boy's adventure hero of the twenties who had modern autos, space ships, submarines, whatever. Anyhow, here's one:

"I always get scared when I go past a cemetery." Tom said gravely.

or:

"We must have blown a fuse!" Tom said delightedly.

Does anyone else even know about these? TR?

Mog, that last joke from me came from my brother-in-law ...
only see him about every few months and on holidays and I don't know where he gets them, but he's usually always got a pretty good joke.

Problem is I can't seem to remember them and even that last one that I deleted wasn't exactly as he told it to me ...
it had us all in stitches at my great nephew's first birthday party last month.

PS:
Mog,
I'll say it again that the debates we used to have helped a lot with our membership.
However, please no more snow ...

We've had enough of that global warming here in Sweden this winter. Spring is here since weeks ago, many weeks too early. There has been very little snow all winter too. Not many days with temps under the freezing point. I guess the glbal warming changes the world in many ways. The winds change and places that used to be cold gets warmer and vice versa. Storms of proportions never seen hit all over the place and some places gets enormous amouints of rain while others get none at all.

The present government in Ukraine is not democratically elected and has, among others, a nazi party involved in it. (Svoboda) That international people of good renomee support them is astonishing imo.
What the russians are doing is not right either but I can understand how they want to protect their interests in Crimea.
Most other countries, with the power to act, would do and have done the same or worse.

Aha,
I knew it ...
Lod and I are basically in agreement.
However, I'm also inclined to believe that Putin may have a few technicalities on his side like that these neo-Nazi fascists overthrew the previous government by force and so in his opinion and also in mine that nullifies previous agreements and so Russia has no obligation to honor previous agreements.

PS:
Putin is also saying that as far as he's concerned the previous government is still in effect and its president has asked him for help.

Please Obama don't start WWIII over this ...
Putin has the moral high ground in the opinion of a lot of people.

What animal is least likely to tell you the truth?
What animal has selective x-ray vision?
What animal would you hire for surveilance jobs?
