We're still not sure, but about 3 and half years after the game is over, there will still be between 20 and 30 of them left. |

tropical depressions start as usual near the African coast in the south-east Atlantic and head toward the USA;
But the jet stream has been turning them in the mid-Atlantic and sending them in the direction of the UK, although nothing is showing now on the link I use, there were tropical depressions Jerry and Lorenzo heading your way in the past few weeks;
So I'm inclined to think that there may be low pressures left from them that may have finally reached the UK which can spawn tornadoes God forbid.

| Posted : Tuesday, 29 October 2013 - 00:06 Thanks TR and LOD , nothing major except trees blowing down ,,, It has now been given a name ,as expected' ,which I am pleased to announce is 'Storm St Jude' yes Storm ,not Hurricane . Apparently ,to be a hurricane , the winds have to be at sustained Hurricane vilosisity . We've only had 'Gusts ' at said speed .. |
