| Posted : Tuesday, 6 February 2007 - 01:00 Okay, I think I caught up. That's the best I could do. Oblivion sent me the roles.
Start Day 3! I hope everyone is still here, because this was a very good game so far! |

All praise Neb for injecting this game with rocket fuel! |

| Posted : Tuesday, 6 February 2007 - 14:25 Story was awesome Neb...thanks.
Now, back to the game...
I was thinking either Coop or Bud, but want to hear everyone else's thoughts.
It'll probably take a day or two to get going good again.

| Posted : Tuesday, 6 February 2007 - 14:55 Well if we're going to go ahead with this then i want to hear from chunky as to why he voted for mwmoss before i make any judgement on him.
Otherwise looking back at the votes and posts i'm started to agree with Sanshiro about Corflu. His voting record is rather suspicious in of itself, but that alone doesn't necessarily mean mafia in this game. Taking that into consideration i went back further to examine Sanshiro's claims a lot closer (since i think everyone almost ignored them due to the mwmoss/Sahe debate) I have to agree that Corflu has been acting a little off most of the game and has been called on by multiple people.
Let's get this game started again. |

| Posted : Tuesday, 6 February 2007 - 15:55 Wasteland, you posted "Another thing that bothers me is Sanshiro said he was now believing moss even less, but still refused to vote either moss or Sage...and instead cast his vote for Biscuit. But AFTER moss had already received "the axe" from Bud and gotten the eight votes against him, he changes his vote to moss as well. Am I the only one that sees the strangeness in that?"
No you are not the only one who see that as strange. I too have questioned Sanshiro's actions and motives but all that seemed to get swept under the rug with the moss/sage fiasco going on.
Now I see your radar pointing at me but I merely got played by sage and I'ts unfair to base your suspicion of me by what I said in the vote thread. I was merely trying to have a little fun with the vote. If you re-read my posts I struggled with the whole thing and initially voted for sage. Hind sight is blindingly clear and I wish I would have kept it on sage, but it's too late for that.
My only question to you and everyone else is, if you kill me and I turn out to be town, what was accomplished?
Nothing. You are no closer to finding another mafia member and just using the vote thread for moss as a script to lynch people is not our answer. We need to use the vote thread as a guide to see what connections we can make to people. I'm not sure at this point that both of the remaining mafia voted for moss or not. I will have to go back and see what I can come up with. |

| Posted : Wednesday, 7 February 2007 - 09:48 The proper procedure for when the town refuses to talk is to put a deadline on. Deadlines help the mafia, but it's the town's own fault for shutting up.
You can remove the deadline once discussion starts again, though. |

| Posted : Wednesday, 7 February 2007 - 10:18 OOh! A random event! That would be cool. Deadline is February 9th 00:00 WoL time. If there is little discussion, I will use a random number generator to off someone...and the person offed may be feeling 'pretty'... |

| Posted : Wednesday, 7 February 2007 - 10:53 Oops, I didn't actually vote Bud for day 3 when I was on the other day. Before we vote for anyone I reckon the last mason should come out. If there's a counterclaim we get a 50/50 on the lynch with only two mafia left, if none is forthcoming it'll also shorten the odds on lynching a mafia for nightfall. |

| Posted : Wednesday, 7 February 2007 - 11:05 I agree. The last mason needs to come out now. We also need to get moving on the next lynch. I have my suspicions but want to see how this plays out. |

| Posted : Wednesday, 7 February 2007 - 12:25 Pardon me for asking ooh yea mighty wise elders... why does the last mason need to come out now? What's the logic behind this? After all,.. without his mason partner he is nothing but a simple townie. Can only talk to himself right now...
Now since Neb asked for this to get moving so we do get to finish this particular story... AND get to give Neb a few more chances to prove his literary mettle...
It seems as if the suspected felons left are Coopels and Bud_C. Personally I have gone off accusing Corflu for it is a) not fun any more, b) his weirdness seems to have logged off for now, c) the voting and support/posts during the last round indicate that Coopels and Bud_C are the most obvious culprits and last but not least d) Biscuit needs to rethink his last post... the mason coming out... why?
Since (we/)I love making lists, here's my current one:
Most suspicious: Coopels - Trying too hard and implicating self. Bud_C - bad mistakes in 1st & 3rd person when talking about the town ('us'/'we'/'them').
Suspicious: Biscuit - strange tactics; exposing masons idea, too clever for his own good (another Sage?) Corlfu - Very FISHkIn ! Chunky - last minute replacement mafia?!
Useless: Renno - has not said anything decisive the whole game. Gueritol - too busy drinking and getting out of hangovers. tarim - (albeit my own fault) still stuck doing his French act from the last game.
I'm casting my vote now and it's for Coopels. All yea who wait to see what's going on before they vote... get some balls and get this thing rolling. Have an opinion and act!!!
Bad Coopels, mafia man!

| Posted : Wednesday, 7 February 2007 - 12:35 I've always been supportive of the masons coming out because they really have no use other than to let us know they are townies. I preferred them both coming out together, because it was a way to verify it, and help us reduce the number of peope we could suspect. But the mafia got lucky the first night.
Just having one mason now doesn't really do anything, except that there is only one of them. If someone counter-claimed, then we'd have another mafia lynching. If no one counter-claims, then we know a one more definite townie that we can trust.
Basically, the more we know about who is who, the better. In that same spirit, we should probably ask the vigilante to come out. His one night kill is used up and the whole counter-claim thing also applies.
Again, if we can trust two people and narrow the suspects down more, it is all in our favor. |

| Posted : Wednesday, 7 February 2007 - 12:48 I think I need to explain the mathmatics behind this for some people a little better:
We have 10 left: 1. tarim 2. chunky50 3. Corflu 4. Sanshiro Sugata 5. The Biscuit 6. darkguy00000 7. gueritol 8. Coopels 9. Bud_Chevy 10. Wasteland
If the mason, the vigilante, and for arguments sake, the doctor come out (he can protect himself), then we only have 7 candidates for mafia. Only 2 can be mafia. If you are one of the 7, the you know there is only 2 out of 6 to choose from (because you know that you are a townie). So we have a 1/3 chance to kill a mafia today. Meanwhile, we can mislynch 2 times before needing a mafia kill on the third try. So our odds keep going up day after day. |
