I like them for different reasons, but i do wonder about a couple things.

Like Mog says, Flooded Town does seem heavy on the roads and is a lot like the bridge map we have already. It has it's merits though so perhaps it should be given a chance. Other than that I see a mountain that blocks the road at 37,26 that might need to be fixed.

Hostile Forest is a good idea yet i just wonder how quick those games will go. With those roads you could basically be at your opponent's castle within a few turns. The barbs slow that down a bit, but still it seems like a one sided map. By one sided i mean that once one player takes any advantage it would be almost impossible for the other person to be able to turn the tide, which makes who goes first an issue more so here than any other map. And i agree with Mog here too in that there does seem to be a lot of gems there.

I have taken on board the critique and have made some changes to The Flooded Town agree there was too many roads so I`ve removed those and also added some more terrain to slow things up a bit
The center section which will be fast Im sure will be fun I think ,and you can see its a map which favours `range troops a bit.
What do you think now?

Bravo has pointed out a couple of mistakes with the flooded town map one really could do with changing
I MISSED A PIECE OF ROAD @25/4 IT IS WATER AT THE MOMENT
Any chance it can be changed !!

Very nice coop I like it a lot nice way of `shrinking the base map by closing off areas ( you missed a tree in the north corner btw)and the center is great its like musical chairs five players and only four gold mines lol would love to play on this(I noticed no goodies in the `paths` in the corners but i can see why)

Thanks harold. Sometimes when you post code into the forum it loses small bits of data. I reposted the code with a few small changes (gemponds instead of goldmines, cutting the paths on the edges) so it should be fine now.

Oh and by the way there are 6 players.

OK, Swirls of Time is available, but it may be corrupted. When I pasted the code data in the map admin box it goes in some of it seemed to overlap other parts. I don't know if this will result in a flawed map. A test crew of 6 to play an unranked game for a few turns on it would be nice, maybe a 3 turn a day game.

Anybody willing to join me in a test, contact me and I'll give you the password. We can just play a few turns to check out all the features with the map editor version of the map then quit out, no rank loss.

Please DON'T start a ranked game on this map until this has been done! Unless you WANT to end up with half a castle and a gimpy spearman.

btw, i created a new Battle map called Jorash Peak.
it's a smaller 40x40 fully Plains map with only a few forests & mountains in the middle.
Very open field and small for faster action.

I also added 3 new terrains for the editor.
Map121, Map49 and Map38

hehe, nice. Any good?
I was thinking of making all future battle maps smaller, so it doesnt take so long to get into combat, and Square so you can go via the middle, or flank on either side equally.
