| Posted : Saturday, 21 June 2008 - 16:11 If anybody cares, here's what everybody's doing at the moment.
CoC: - Sage - All three barracks destroyed, barely any troops left. Will soon begin to have his castle taken over by Ice's comms.
Mog - Surrounded by Biscuit, Corflu, and Gala. Two of his three barracks were destroyed, and he is expecting a massive (and quite possibly fatal) assault on his castle imminently.
VJ - Also in Mog's castle. Can the two of them hold up against the massive forces of Biscuit, Corflu, and Gala?
Coopels - Beaten down by a failed offensive, nobody knows exactly what Coopels is up to. Is he about to burst in and save the day? Or is he still licking his wounds? Or is he licking something else? TIME WILL SHOW!
Neb - The only member of CoC who ISN'T knee deep in feces right now. He's got his own castle, plus Renno's, and now he's coming to somebody's aid...but with so many of us in danger, who will Neb save?
BoS:
Renno : DEAD!
Ice: On the verge of taking Sage's castle, with some help from Corflu. He's beaten and bruised, but now that Sage's last barracks is down, he's won the fight.
Corflu: With the majority of his forces sieging Mog's castle, and a few helping Ice finish off Sage, where will Corflu's armies prove more valuable?
Biscuit: His catapults have wreaked havoc on Mog's castle. Does he have enough traditional troops to break CoC's back after producing the slow moving catapults? We shall see!
Gala - Also converging on Mog, is Gala's move a brilliant tactic, or suicide? Well...probably not suicide...
....the summary sounded a lot cooler and a lot less redundant in my head. Really. In short, CoC is a castle and a player up, but we're down in number of barracks and army size. So it's still a tie game. | | Corflu Joined 22/08/2003 Posts : 1408

| Posted : Monday, 23 June 2008 - 01:08 Coop, I'm glad to see you finally coming to my castle :-). Previously there were just promises I requested to vacate it and to host your troops in the best rooms. Enjoy it. If a couple of friends want to join you, they are more than welcomed. | | Ice Joined 10/03/2005 Posts : 1068

| Posted : Monday, 23 June 2008 - 20:37 Ice, there were five players on each side in this game. If BoS wins, which is likely, you won't have done it with four players! It sounds real good, but it isn't true.

| Posted : Tuesday, 24 June 2008 - 00:29 Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner. The Brotherhood of Steel has vanquished the Clowns of Chaos. It was a particularly interesting game, with turnabouts from both sides but ultimately the BoS took the game.
The Clowns of Chaos concede the game to the Brotherhood of Steel. Congratulations! You may write it up in the history sticky.

Anyway... Great game CoC, this is the best Clan game I have ever been involved in. loads of fun...

| Posted : Tuesday, 24 June 2008 - 01:16 Congrats to CoC + 1 who put up a tremendous effort. Neb played a fantastic game and it really could have gone either way a number of times.
Early on VJ and company blasted Biscuit and Gala, then Corflu, Gala and Biscuit hit VJ and Mog. Gala hit Coopels hard and then Neb took Rennos castle. Ice was fortunate enough to catch Sage with walls down, or we would surely still be battling. It was rockem sockem action with the midnight fast clicking issue that we hope gets corrected by Req soon.
A well played and tough battle all around. One of the toughest. I have to put out kudos to our MVP - Gala, who was everywhere when he needed to be. Thanks to all for participating and playing! | | Biscuit Joined 15/09/2003 Posts : 1893
| Posted : Tuesday, 24 June 2008 - 01:42 History is up. But Corflu's shortened version may be better than my long-winded one. LOL
I agree with the others. This was one back and forth clan game, and as such, made it the best ever. It really could have gone either way several times.
Hats off to CoC for a superb game! | | gala Joined 1/09/2005 Posts : 496
| Posted : Tuesday, 24 June 2008 - 05:23 CoC'a , thanks a lot for the game. It was stressfull , but I think we all enjoyed it very much. vj121, as I predicted several months ago, you are becoming one of the strongest WOL players. You were very valuable player helping CoCs a lot. My brothers BoS, well played. Biscuit was as usually amazing tactically, contributing the most to destroying Coop\s army and Mog's castle. Corflu was a real General, taking accounatbility at most difficult moments of the game. Ice was silently playing , but killed Sage almost alone. Renno was engaged in many games and was too generous to Neb :-) |
