On a different note, i thought BoS had planned to start this on the 3rd and yet i've heard little about setting up this game so far....

actually, I think what Mog meant was that he if could reset points, he would just reset everyone higher than him, which would automatically make him the new 1st :p

Mog stumbles in from outside where he has been watering various fire hydrants and sees Neb choking to death on what appears to be a rare Roc's egg.

"I don't want to hurt this valuable and surely mythic object just to save Neb's life...I wonder what to do?"

He spies Renno laughing it up over in the corner, holding a still smoking ping pong ball gun.

"Renno! Look! Neb has a rare Roc's egg stuck in his throat! What should we do??" Mog bleats.

"Hmm, sounds rare and valuable to me, maybe we could cut around it to get it out safely?" Renno replies.

"Yes! Good thinking, old bean!" Mog pulls out his trusty sling blade, eats some french fried taters and is approaching Neb's throat when Neb somehow Heimlich Maneuvers himself, expelling the ping pong ball at near warp speed directly into Renno's forehead where it penetrates about a quarter of an inch before flattening out into a white disc which pops loose and floats to the floor.

"Erp" says Renno as he sinks slowly to the floor. Mog finally puts two and two together, reaching his usual sum of ... seven... and realizes that Renno somehow has absorbed the Roc's egg into his head!

"This means war!" Mog bellows and lunges at Renno, brandishing a sharpened bowling pin.

I was about to call myself the wol myth buster but neb just vanished my dreams.Anyway I think vj contribution there was bigger than mine.

Meanwhile...

Mog falls out of the tree he was scanning the horizon from, garnering a nasty bruise on his left buttock in the process.

"You guys! You guys! I think I saw a BoS! He was tiny and covered in fur, had a bushy tail and big teeth!" Mog yells to his mates.

"You idiot, that was just a squirrel" Neb hisses. "Get back up in that tree and keep a lookout while the rest of confer on strategy, we need your sharp eyes and probing nose at work, not your teeny brain!"

"OK, OK, I'll get right back up there" Mog replies. He jumps for the lowest branch, which leaves him about 6 feet short of it.

"Mog, CLIMB the tree, like last time, remember?" Coopels gently suggests, jabbing Mog in his already sore, aforementioned buttock with a rusty fork.

"OK, OK, I'm on it!" Mog bellows, as he shinnies up the tree. "Can I have a sandwich yet?"

The rest of the clan are already out of his sight by the time Mog has finished his question. He scowls and looks out on the lands he must defend, knowing that soon it won't be just a squirrel he sees.

I see nebulaughsalot on the horizon! he's trudging through the swamp with snakes biting his ankles and insects eating him alive from the knees up.

Time for evasive maneuvres, CAPTAIN! yes sir!

Send out the spearmen with the aligator whistles, and slaughter a goat and spread the blood and entrails around a bit, that should slow neb down a bit.
