Do American people always have to re-name everything after parts of their own country? lol. Is there any water? If not it could be the Himalayan Steeps

| Posted : Thursday, 13 December 2007 - 22:14 Ironically i had thought about something involving the Himalayas for that map. I've been busy these past few nights though so i haven't gotten to naming it yet. If anyone wants to do the honors to name and make a description for it please feel encouraged to do so. |

| Posted : Friday, 14 December 2007 - 01:03 Are all the clans going to agree to this, I was thinking maybe 4 teams, 2 clans and 2 mercs per team on the 25 player map, I am a little concerned because the 40 player map is untested.
Three of the clans entered have 3 players available, and three clans have 1 player available so add two mercs and it would all work out to 4 teams of 6.

| Posted : Friday, 14 December 2007 - 01:42 bravo if we did 4 teams on a 25 player map then it would be unbalanced, i think you mean 5 teams of 5 |

| Posted : Friday, 14 December 2007 - 04:22 I went with 4 teams because we have players from 8 clans, so with 2 clans per team we wouldn't have to split up the clanmates, its just a suggestion for discussion, we already have 21 players and we could start soon.
Four teams of 6 is 24, I could have a player enter and remove the last castle.

| Posted : Friday, 14 December 2007 - 04:25 I have a question about the north/south idea, you guys have done this more than me, we are talking about some BIG maps here, if you start up north or deep down south isn't it a VERY long way to the front lines?

| Posted : Friday, 14 December 2007 - 20:30 the people who are far away would just have to build a few barracks near the front, but they'd have relative security and wouldn't need to upgrade their barracks just economy till they have their barracks up, could be a nice trade off |

| Posted : Friday, 14 December 2007 - 22:48 It depends on how he want to play it... Since he is not under direct attack... But if the castle in front of him falls.... Then high chance he won't be able to survive thru if he didn't send help in the beginning
So kind of interesting too... |

| Posted : Saturday, 15 December 2007 - 01:38 I think we also need to set some kind of dead line for this, we have 22 players, would everyone be agreeable if we are not at least past 25 by Wednesday to dropping the idea of 40 players?

| Posted : Monday, 17 December 2007 - 23:47 The MERC GAME is up! ! !
Looks like we will not have enough for 40 players.
It is one turn a day on the 25 player map, 120 turns, inactive is set to 96 hours, this event is unranked, with standard resources.
We have two players that will wait until the final details are worked out to join.
Thank You and GOOD LUCK !

| Posted : Wednesday, 19 December 2007 - 19:05 I'll play the 5 team 5 player deal. Sounds good to me. | | BRAVO 872 Joined 11/10/2007 Posts : 273
| Posted : Wednesday, 19 December 2007 - 19:06 Some of the mercs already have an agreement to play for a certain clan.
So we need to decide on either.. 5 teams of 5 players or 4 teams of 6 players with the 25th being a neutral.
We can get together after the holidays and play a 20 player north south.
Please post your reply in the ' Merc Game with a Twist ' discussion thread, we will make a decision sometime in the next 36 hours.
We are still about 3 short so, get out and recruit some MERCS!
