lol. Don''t play coy.

*points everyone to the last post on page 2*

Attempting to turn the entire world against Russia just so you and your British ally can lap up the SCs isnt very nice you know.

Ok, I''ll explain. I recently tested Gaiya to see if there was a Russian-Turkish alliance, known in the diplomacy world as "The Juggernaut."

There was. So I decided to mention it to everyone. I immediately decided I didn''t want to...yet, or rather, I wanted to only make it known to a couple of people. So I deleted my post.

Unfortunately, Gaiya had already seen my post and was in the midst of responding to it.

Now, to talk about YOUR accusations, Gaiya.

(1. A war in Russia would not make MY position any better, so the idea that I''m masterminding it doesn''t make sense. It would help Britain, but not France. France actually benefits from a strong Russia. Russia and France are what is known as "counterpoints." The same way England and Turkey are counterpoints. A strong Russia means a strong france, and vice versa. Likewise, a strong England means a strong Turkey, and vice versa.

What would make more sense would be for me to host a conspiracy against YOU.

!!Mod Note to Padro!!

Padro, I''ve sent you a message, a chat invite, and am now making this post. I need your build orders like right now. Everyone had them in a long while ago and this game needs to move along. I know you probably didn''t notice the PM and I sent the chat invite after you logged off apparently, so I''m giving you plenty more time. If you don''t have them in by mid-afternoon tomorrow I''ll have to do something. I don''t know what yet, but I need to keep the game moving. Thanks

Well you could set a deadline for moves and builds.
If he misses this turns build he still gets the build at the end of next year if he still has free SCs.

But a year is such a looong time. lol.

Exactly!!!!

By helping Britain crush Russia you for me into a long drawn out stalemate against Austria/Italy OR to go north, eat Russia and then get decimated by Italy/Austria/Britain.

Meanwhile you gobble up Germany and then slowly begin to consume Italy (and could even press against who over controls the western-most russian front and support Britain).
One quick strike against Britain (who would also be over-stretched) much later on and you easily get 18SCs and win the game.

Right now France on its own is the single most powerful nation in Europe!

So I see your accusations and attempts to get me to invade Russia as an attempt to bring me down and allow Britain to over-reach itself so you can lap it all up!

People should be wary about trusting your words Sage!

Uh huh.

I''ll let everyone do some cursory reading on diplomacy theory (that link Gutterfly gave us is great) and you''ll see why I wouldn''t be doing what Gaiya suggests I am.

See that theory only works if all the players in the game behave as most of the experienced players do. We have already seen some ''out-of-the-norm'' plays so to speak and I think there are many more interesting twists and turns to this tale to come yet.

You have to be willing to read the map and the game as it goes as well as those strategies etc.

Its the words and wording that counts. The diplomacy.
This isn''t a WoL Camp game!
The only thing that can be called in this game thus far is Frances obvious early domination!

Ok I am on my third computer,I think my work one is blocking it as I keep getting an error, so I tried the home one and that does not even let me see the log on for WOL (I can read the intro but I di not get any of the left hand part of the page.)

and on my daughters laptop, It lets me download, but it starts down loading then it pops back to ask if I want to down load, I say yes and it starts and then pops back to the question again. This is very frustrating.

Any help for a computer dummy who has no clue how to get this to work?

Russia and Germany both owe me retreat orders, as they both have dislodged units.

Germany''s dislodged unit can move to either Sil or Mun. Russia''s can move to either Sil or Ukr.

Retreat orders don''t take much talking, you have very limited options, so get those in to me pronto. Thanks

Russian Aggressors!!!

The Russians invaded our dear friends the Germans and Austrians this year of 1902! We, the people of Turkey come to their aid! Unholy Russian lands shall be swept clean by the Holy Forces of Turkey! Praise be to Allah!

We support our good friends the Austrians in the defence of their homelands as just this season the Russian troops struck there, slaying innocent civilians and causing much mayhem!
Due to the heroic Turkish and Austrian forces the Russians were driven back!

Foul Russian troops pollute the streets of Berlin!
We shall drive them into the northern seas!!!

Well, in an interesting turn of events, both Germany and Russia decided to retreat to Sil. As a result, their armies were both disbanded since multiple armies cannot occupy a single territory. Tough break.

Here''s the map for Fall 02:

If I''m the last one still to not turn in orders, that''s because close to EVERY country in the game is ignoring my messages...

If I''ve messaged you and you haven''t responded, please know that the game won''t move on until you do.

Sage, if they are not replying to you, maybe it''s because they don''t want to talk to you.

So you should get your moves in, ASAP.

After all, you are the big bully of the game...

russia and turkey both have dislodged units. they both only have one option for retreat, or they can choose to disband those units if they would like. get those decisions to me as quick as possible, guys.

the rest of you guys can start considering your adjustment orders, and get those into me as soon as possible.

mmkay, retreats are done already, so here''s the updated map. Turkey retreated to Alb, and Russia disbanded his dislodged unit.

It seems that Austria is an ungrateful little @$%&.
I saved him from a joint Russian/Turkish assault which would have seen him destroyed.

Italy too seem to spur all friends other than the only country that has the ability to destroy him!

I shall crush Austria now as I had intended. Even if it means suicide!!!!
My units shall mindlessly destroy him!
