| Posted : Wednesday, 14 May 2008 - 13:31 there's a number of aways people can die... for one, they could have starved to death...
and you didn't say for certain whether or not they actually died IN the cabin...
maybe I'm off in the wrong direction here... *scratches head* |

Mary and Joe were found dead on the floor of the apartment in which they live... there is broken glass and water on the floor... a breeze blows in from the window. What happened? |

Here's a hard one, speaking of the Titanic: Two men stand aboard the Titanic. The boat is sinking. One man is wearing a red hat. What is their relation to each other? |

| Posted : Thursday, 15 May 2008 - 16:57 @Crazy...you provide incomplete information. The only thing you can say with any certainty is that the window is open, there is a breeze, Mary and Joe are dead, some glass broke, and some water was spilt.
I can make up any hairbrained excuse for why these things are as they are...
Mary found out Joe was cheating on her. They got into an arguement. Mary was so mad, she was going to jump out the window to her death (too bad their apartment is on the first floor). Joe talked her off the ledge by offering a glass of water, which Mary took a drink from. Joe laughed at Mary when he told her that he had laced the water with arsenic and she would be dead in a minute or two. Mary laughed at Joe when he clutch his chest because of a heart attack (he was 104, after all). They both collapsed and died...the glass fell from Mary's hand and shattered, spilling what remained of the water.
Or you could take the techy approach and say a sniper shot them through the window with an ice bullet. (You seem to like tieing water and ice together in your riddles.) This would explain the broken glass as the bullets came through the window. The bullets would melt after killing their targets, leaving the water.
Plenty of things could have happened. |

If a bull is chasing you, describe the steps you would take to lose him.
