The lying and not lying I cannot get straight >.< If he was following his theme with his last reply, it would mean that it is not used indoors or outdoors... confuzzled

I agree...this version befuddles me. So back to "what is the word" I go.

there is a great chance that any statement he makes is a lie, but it does get confusing when people ask him to clarify outside of a question - at least with a yes or no question we are guaranteed a lie, and we know where the lie is in the statement. we cannot know where the object is commonly used now, question #4 isn't a waste, but the clarification got us nowhere.

if this is true :

[used indoors and out = false.]

then, one of the following is true:

1: neither indoors nor outdoors (which cannot be true due to question #4)

2: indoors but not outdoors (which cannot be true due to question #4)

3: outdoors but not indoors.

but because of the clarification error,

[used indoors and out = true]

might be correct.

therefore, I will solve the problem with a direct yes or no question.

Okay, I''ll take the time to do a recap again...give me some time here, people!

Here we go...

1. Never alive.
2. Doesn't breath oxygen.
3. Not a common household item.
4. Usually found outside (also used outside).
5. Not naturally occuring.
6. Manpower is its only powersource, if it has any.
7. Does not modify food (?)
8. Not a public service (we got off track for a while)
9. Not much metal used in this item.
10. Used by a specific profession.
11. Do not need a degree to use.
12. Weighs less than 20 pounds.
13. Mostly plastic (different versions have more)
14. It is NOT the planet Venus.
15. No movable parts.
16. Not used in gardening.
17. No liquid in this object at all.

So...a type of tool, mostly made of plastic used outdoors, weighing less than 20 pounds.

Mr. Moggle de Mogville...Does this item have moveable parts? (as opposed to one solid inanimate object)

Plenty of movable parts! Oh, so many.

17th?

Plus, Neb, heck yeah I''l ltake a win any way it comes, I''m not proud. I am no better than that.

However, since I got you guys off the pot, the time limit is off, keep guessing, you may possibly still figure it out, maybe.

Yes, you see gardeners with these all the time, they have to have them to survive, it is a necessary component of gardening and is always associated with the act of gardening by everyone, universally.

is the object used with one''s hands?

(I''m not sure how the object being a tool got into the summery, I don''t see evidence of it anywhere, unless I missed something. just because its outside and has something to do with a proffession and if its powered at all it is man powered does not mean it is a tool - it could still be a banner advertizing a used car lot or something. I worded it this way to be more specific, yes there are tools that aren't used with one''s hands, but if I were to just ask if it were a tool, that wouldn't really help us much, its a word that is too broadly definable. a road sign, with liberal interpretation, could be considered a tool in that it aids drivers. though that could also be considered a public service. the advert wouldn't though, more like the oposite of pulbic service.)
