| Posted : Monday, 23 April 2007 - 08:06 Acelnorst your recap seems wrong.
Firstly it doesn''t use a power source other than man.
Also the fact that it is not a public service does not mean its used by a specialist. Public services would include things like buses, phone boxes, WOL. Items such as cars and mobile phones are not public services.
Is it used in someone''s profession (such as an axe is used by a lumberjack and professional axe murderers)? | | Mog DoCJoined 5/02/2004 Posts : 14358
| Posted : Monday, 23 April 2007 - 08:26 Nope, sure isn''t. Has nothing to do with a profession whatsoever!

| Posted : Monday, 23 April 2007 - 08:42 Is it used by a profession that you normally need a degree to get into (doctors, architects, etc)? | | Acelnorst Joined 30/03/2007 Posts : 109
| Posted : Monday, 23 April 2007 - 08:46 Please don''t tell em, Profesional axe murderers would count -lol
Also, thank you for the input on my recap. The fact of that I can''t see previous posts while posting a reply confused me.
About the other part of it... I know that. However you do need some kind of training to be able to drive. My mistake was saying specialization, instead of a more accurate word (wich i fail to recall at this time). Anyhow, yes, that was a preety eager assumption, but it seems I was right ^^
That last question is cheaty. For an instance, cars can be used by individuals and they are related with taxi drivers... unless we assume taxis are not cars... I''d like some specification on this please

| Posted : Monday, 23 April 2007 - 09:36 Most things that are used by professionals can be used by non-professionals, I''ve used an axe and am neither a lumberjack or an professional axe-murderer (its more of a hobby). I have also used a scalpel yet have nothing to do with medicine. I was trying to work out if it could be used in a profession and what kind of profession it would be.
The taxi vs car thing is complicated as the taxi is a specific use of a car not a type of car. Some cars are built to be taxis but some taxis are just generic cars. | | Mog DoCJoined 5/02/2004 Posts : 14358
| Posted : Monday, 23 April 2007 - 20:44 Yes, you do need a degree to use the thing. You have to be a professional and make a ton of money too.

| Posted : Wednesday, 2 May 2007 - 03:19 Seems to not be made mostly from plastic although there are different makes of these things, some may not have much plastic.
