Maybe if someone is absent for more than a week they get dropped from their clans.. and when they become active again are automatically reassigned a clan... it could get annoying after a while if your on and off a lot so perhaps put a level restriction on it so after u get... 150-200 in all fields (battles, duels etc.) then it'd stop dropping or assigning you. | | Lothar Joined 2/08/2009 Posts : 433

This would require clan members to seek out new players and invite them into their clan and train them in the ways of WoL. | Posted : Thursday, 18 March 2010 - 17:06 if you just make up clan names and auto-assign newbies to different clans, they will have no clue what the hell is going on! if they don't understand the game yet, what kind of a chance would they have in a clan campaign? clans need some sort of organization... either a leader or a veteran player is needed, or the clan will not have much of a chance against other experienced clans... a leader is not always needed imo... (such as with the mercenaries... all our major decision making is made by a majority vote... we all have an equal say/voice...we all have an equal vote...) imho...newbie clans won't even know where to look to find/create a clan war... and if they join one, it will probably turn out to be a massacre... now, if you have newbs auto-assigned to current clans, than the amount allowed in each clan should definately be raised... and maybe after thirty days of inactivity...the leader/clan creator can boot the inactive...

| Posted : Friday, 19 March 2010 - 01:13 but with that kind of thinking (and it has always been so here), then clans become stagnate, people come and go and not always active. Clan games don't happen often, kinda like the superbowl, happens once a year.
What would make the most sense is for any clan to have a base of 5 experienced players(at least), and increase the player base per clan. Now we could generate more clan games, any clan could have multiple games going, and the new players have experience to learn from. After their first clan game the new player now has enough experience to fly from the nest and spread his/her wings.
To keep it smooth things would need to be set up like the player base, auto-sign new members to clans, and something I think very important is the ability to substitute for a player who quits or goes inactive. | | Harold1 DoCJoined 21/04/2007 Posts : 1977
