| Posted : Monday, 12 October 2009 - 17:15 Ive just sent a message out to all of our active members. I would like to set out a new ground rule which needs to be followed in good faith. If a player is away for ANY reason his/her account will not be accessed or played by anyone except for the owner of that account. If your not there to play you are AWOL,this is for any reason family issues, holidays, computer broke down....NO EXCEPTIONS. | Posted : Monday, 12 October 2009 - 22:08 lol...sounds like you have a life klyph!
i think you are asking a bit much princess... even in the last clan battle...you and relax needed time away...and you both had ppl take your turns... why the new set of rules? Last Edited : Monday, 12 October 2009 - 22:14 | Mog DoCJoined 5/02/2004 Posts : 14359
| Posted : Tuesday, 13 October 2009 - 00:59 I have to agree with Princess. For one thing, Requiem abhors this practice of filling in for others. It also makes for rancor in games when people are more concerned with getting screwed by what is basically a multi they must fight.
Arguably, there is an advantage to moving more than one set of troops in some fights. Leads to more arguments.
If you can't commit to being in a game, you shouldn't join it. If you expect a vacation or trip, don't join it. If by joining a game you stand to let down your clan or team mates by being absent, why join it?
Lastly, being absent isn't always as bad as one might imagine. In a regular campaign it isn't unusual to ask for a day or two long treaty. Even in a team or clan game you could at least ask if you need to go away for a day or two, people are forgiving in a lot of cases. | | laur Joined 9/01/2008 Posts : 320
| Posted : Tuesday, 13 October 2009 - 01:01 it happens very often to leave the town in weekends. not all the times I have internet connection when I'm out. Don't want to loose my turn because of that.... | | laur Joined 9/01/2008 Posts : 320
| Posted : Tuesday, 13 October 2009 - 01:19 everything sounds very nice mog, only that is not practical at all...you know like marx and engels...I don't think you experienced that following that rule, there will be no clan games anymore.
a clan game may last 2-3 months, who the fxxx has that lame life to stay online each day all that long? I'm not that guy! Last Edited : Tuesday, 13 October 2009 - 01:27
