We have to remember that it is "used to make something work."

Another reason I believe it's a farm animal...either that or for the circus.

So a mousetrap wouldn't fit, but the animal control devices would.

Remember, though...moving parts. And expensive enough to be worth more than twenty dollars...but rare enough that Mog wasn't ENTIRELY sure of the price, and he seriously doubts that Harold owns one...

we also must remember that the item is not used in sports or hobbies that mog knows of ... so that does discount anything to do with horses even farm horses as ploughing is a sport over here

I'm not sure Mog would consider ploughing to be a sport. You Europeans are like aliens.

IMO, all the interesting sports are obscure ones that I'd never heard of before.

then again, if I'd grown up with Buzkashi as normal, perhaps I'd find baseball interesting.

The item is `mass` produced though!!

and also a dog choke chain would fit a pocket with ease

and my extensive collection of rat traps and hamster wheels does put doubts on that idea

It could be the device that puts the rubber bands around male pig and bovine to castrate them !! I do not have any of those as of yet ( still waiting for ebay delivery)

ps ^ector in your clip you have found, our Prince Harry is the one in the blue and white shirt playing the eton wall game

How about `spurs`
nope hobby kills that one again!!

Yes! It is spurs! I'll give that one to you since you disqualified it and probably wouldn't have ever gotten back to it. Good going, ya buttmunch!

One for the Forum.

thats a bad pocket item indeed.

when we get to Mogerator's 20 questions # 50, and 100, will they be some kind of special edition, or just plain 'ol the same? cause, it could be fun to celebrate.

That's only cause he realized he sort of overlooked horseback riding as a hobby/sport.

Of course, they don't use spurs anymore...but they used to...but technically we asked "IS it used in a hobby or sport...not IS or HAS IT BEEN used" :-P

so what should be the ultimate question that we ask to narrow things down to living, nonliving, manmade, mineral, or whatever?

1st question: Is it (or was it) alive?

If answer is yes, proceed to determine the organism.

If answer is no, then

2nd question: Is it (or was it) manmade?

If no, then we know we're looking for a natural object. If yes, then we proceed looking for the manmade object. Good questions, I think, involve determining the composition and size of the object...and go on from there...

if the anwser to the first 2 is no, it means it must be a mineral or a water souce of some sort.

To my knowledge, using spurs is considered cruelty to animals in the US... I don't think there are any major sporting events that use spurs on horses. Horses are controlled by leg and feet, or a switch to my understanding.

As to why I gave it to you guys, it was a hard one, you were so close and harold1 said the magic word! I didn't want to hear the howling if I withheld that info.
