To clarify something here, when you ask if it is animal vegetable or mineral, I say:
Animal, any living being that isn't a plant. A dog, a bacteria.
Vegetable, any living thing that isn't an animal. A tree, a tomato plant.
Mineral, any non-living thing that has never been alive. A rock, water, gas.
