Yes, we lose some unit precision. I also preferred the days of the no max limit games and used to have stacks that were 500 or more. And unit kills seemed more gratifying than health point kills. Now it is a bit of both. Just be thankful Req didn''t make everything 1 unit pops and everything would have been in the health points. (I guess in that case you''d have to deploy by health units)

Just wondering how the points system works? Do u get the same experience for killing 1 pop as 10 before? if not most camps current rankings wont change?

I really dont like this at all. now it takes way too much firepower just to weaken an army just a little. The 50 pop. stacks were better

It''s just a matter of mental adjustment, really. See killing a 1 pop as killing a 10 pop from before, it may be more satisfying.

1 pop, health oriented troops have been discussed too. Health points could be healed. You would always deploy 1 pop units, but some would be groovier than others. Only when it had zero health would it be dead, and still able to fight at, or near full strength until dead. Just a different system...

Does system track decimals? my barracks show 0 even though hc have been building for a couple turns. For example, if i ''cash out'' my hc after 3 turns after having accumulated 1.05 units, will system remember that i still have 0.05 in the barracks? or will i start from scratch?

And you can see that it holds the fraction. If you look at your military display, it will show 1 pop ready for any fraction less than 1 full unit...even though you will not be able to see or build the unit in your actual barracks until the fractions add up to 1 or more.

It will show 1 pop ready for master units for a few turns before one will actually appear ready to be built in the barracks.

A pop 3 knight did ZERO damage to a pop 5 commander.

That just isn''t possible.

Would 30 knights hitting 50 commanders have done less than 10 killed in old system???

wolff: When you deploy the ballista in your barracks you produce 2 full units...no fraction. The only units running around with fractions are ones that were built before the upgrade or those that have taken combat damage.

Filimon: You are not completely off topic as this is likely related to the increase in comm health that Req mentions. Perhaps you did the hit while he was making the change? If he had a big enough number in there as he made the adjustment, it could be why. Otherwise, no...it is not possible for a 3 pop knight not to take out 1 pop (at least) of commandeer. Do post it in the bug forum...and include a cut/paste of the attack history if you can.

Just my two cents here. Did not like the change. Did not like the changes earlier in the year. Will still play for now but I don''t think I will stay after my games are complete. I liked the system I found when I started playing last November.

It was a 3 pop knight vs. 5 pop comm.
