CHANGES
* All armies have been shrunk to be 10-pop max. They were divided by 10 so 50-pop stacks are now 5.
* Troop production now occurs at 1/10th the old speed, so less stacks and matches the now 10-pop max per army.
* Campaign & Duel starting armies are now 5-pop (1/2 max size).
* Damage to buildings is 10x normal troop damage, as is building, repairing and takeover to match the size changes.
* Destroying a building will now take 30% of the TOTAL health of any army inside. (eg 10pop army would lose 3pop).
* Comms now give +2 Attack to nearby troops for each Comm in the army. Troops can still only be effected by 1 comm army.
* Balistas now have +5% damage for each troop in the target army (ignoring the first troop).
* Increased Comms/Summoners/Protectors health and EXP/Battle-Cost.
* Troop levels are now EXP/500 instead of /200.
* Campaigns are deleted if they do not start within 19999 minutes (13.8 days).
* Newly deployed troops can attack once only. They deploy with "orange" status so miss their first movement phase.
* Minimum level when creating games is now in increments of 50 instead of 100.
* Barbarians growth rate in Duels slowed from .25/turn to .10/turn.

FIXES
* Fixed the LAG issue. Moving/attacking should be very fast now.
* Fixed the double quarry bug in the bottom corner of the Ten Kings campaign map. It now has the Mine on the top right of the bottom area instead of the extra quarry.
* Fixed the missing Mine bug in the Ten Kings map.
* Barbs now grow in Campaigns the same as Duels
* Fixed Best Level in Hall of Fame for all game types.

Duh...shoulda read this before I posted some on the other thread...but troop building still needs to be corrected, we''re given no option to build smaller units, it is all or "1"...

Bugs should be posted in the bug forum.

Altho, I just built a 2-pop Comms army, so I''m not sure what you mean "no option". Please continue this in the bug forum if you think its actually a bug somewhere.

has troop strength been altered to match this also? i would assume so but never noticed, taking me forever to take out a 5 pop ballista with 5 of my 5 pop ballista

No, troop strength didn''t need to be altered. 5 pop ballis are the same as the old 50 pop ballis. If 50 pop would have killed 8 ballis before, now they would kill 0.8 ballis now. The ratios are the same.

I liked the 50 pop thingy the best I dont know about everybody else but this is confusing me and I prefer the 50 pop.

The nice thing about this change is Battles and Campaign /Duels will all play the same I think.

I was really struggling with Battles because of the different stack sizes.

Also since the stacks were at a max of 50 pop in a campaign shouldnt the troop production and stacks of the current sizes only have been reduced by 1/5 instead of 1/10?

I think the idea is that it should take as long now to create 5pop as it used to to create 50 pop, hence 1/10th, as we can now make a 10 stack, which is equiv to a 100 stack under the old system, had it been possible.

Yea but that doesnt make a whole lot of sense, if 10 is the max pop then I think that troop production should''ve been reduced by 1/5 and the current 50 pops should have been reduced to 10 pops. Seeing as that 50 was the max pop and now its 10 everything should be reduced equivalent to the max pop of unit stacks now. ex: 1/5 troop production and 10 pop stacks of the 50 pops.

I see your point, but what req wanted to do was allow more powerful stacks to those who have the time and resources, but to start having numbers like 80 or 100 in a stack would get a bit much, so he simply cut everything by 10.
Now I''m no programmer, but I guess that would help with the lag also, as the lower numbers should be quicker to process??

i was liking 50 pop..and why an overnight change, im sure somehow this is going to mess up my current campaigns, This new 5 pop is a weak structure there is a differnce between 19 troops and 1 troops...now we do not see that..this is a bigger change i think than many might think and i for one do not like it.

I have seen no difference in speed, all i know is that i have seen scale downs in other games and they suck, its ok if and only if you have a game that goes by ages or rounds, not one where u have many games going yera around w/o change, this came overnight, and is definitely confusing to agree with some posts above...like i said if u see 1 troop that can be anywhere from 1-19 in the 50 scale right? thanks for the blindfold.....

oh and if this honestly stays the current scoreboard needs completely archived, and remade since in my campaign now near 10k in kills, would be more like 100 kills or something...

actually, 1-10 old system is a 1 in the new and 11-20 would be a 2 in the new system.

the scaling down of troop size had nothing to do with the lag, req fixed that last night before he updated the stack sizes and it worked great.

thank u for that biscuit, but once again that is still not precise in the heat of battle...11-20 can still be a big diffence when fighting with strong units especially..
