Troop Army Sizes
A change in Army size/populations is on the way. The original idea was to re-introduce a MAXPOP for all armies based on the troop sizes.
A Small MaxPop would mean soldier armies would be say 20-40 troops MAX per army, and mounted troops 10-20.
A Large MaxPop would mean soldier armies would be say 100 troops MAX per army, and mounted troops 60-70.
The OTHER idea is to have SINGE troop armies. Like other RTS games where each army object means 1 single troop instead of an army of whatever size.
The troop production and troop health/dmg would change accordingly, so that each 1 troop army would be equivalent to a full "maxpop" army.
But with no army POP to worry about its much simpler to use/play.
PLUS, the difference between all the troops would be smaller.
PLUS, it also allows the introduction of the KING troop. Each empire begins with your King who is much stronger than any normal troop, but if you lose your king (or all your castles), you are eliminated.
