What Is The Game About?

WarOnline.Net focuses on two main areas: Combat Strategy, and Resource Strategy.

Much like many RTS games, what you build, what terrain you are on, where you build it, and what you do with it are all of equal importance. You need to manage your finacial resources, but also your empires layout and defensive capablilities, and of course your offensive strategies.

How Often Does WarOnline Update?

WarOnline.Net is somewhere between real-time strategy(RTS) and turn-based strategy.
Certain moves you make happen immediately, like moving armies, attacking enemies, building, etc, whilst other actions take place at the end of each turn/server update like resource growth, movement regeneration, etc.

Game Speeds and Turns?

Each game has its own speed based on TURNs.
One Turn is defined as the time it takes for things to fully regenerate/action. (eg, Armies fully regenerate every turn, scoreboards update every turn, troop production, etc).

The Speed of a game is defined by how often a turn occurs.
Games that show 12-hrs as the speed means that there is a new turn every 12hrs.

What Are Battle Points and Movement Points?

Battle Points are a percentage of any action that an army is ready to engage in.
eg, with only 60% Battle Points, then only 60% damage could be done in combat.

Movement Points represent how many squares your army can move in 1 Turn.
eg, with only 6/10 Movement Points, 10 showing the maximum per turn, an army can move 6 squares in distance.

Battle & Movement Points fully regenerate every turn regardless of army sizes or levels.
