| Posted : Thursday, 9 August 2001 - 18:24 I''ll be looking for new hosting very soon. Probably a USA based web-host.
It seems that I will not be able to reduce my current bandwidth to 3gb/month (100mb/day). Its currently at 150-200mb/day and thats without me actually using my connection for my own purposes.
So I will have to find a new ISP to host WarOnline. If you know of someone that is cheap and doesnt have any greedy limits like Telstra do, then let me know.

| Posted : Thursday, 9 August 2001 - 20:03 well, i use my cable modem currently, so it doesnt cost me any extra to run the game. I''d be paying my cable costs regardless of the game.
So wotever the costs of the external hosting, will be a totally new/additional cost.
I may just have to start puttin on a limit to the number of players allowed to Beta-Test the game. Until I can sort out the finances.

It''s seems to be 15.00$ a month. What is the requirements(PHP,MySQL,etc) needed to run WarOnline? |

7.77 $ a month, and it supports a great deal of things. 100 mb storage space, but 12 gb transfer per month allowed, I believe. |

| Posted : Wednesday, 22 August 2001 - 16:30 Ok... Some interesting news here. Looks like I''ve found a new host, who just happens to be a gaming website.
I''m currently modifying the database/pages to conform to their software, which may take a few more days.
I''ll post more info shortly. |
