Goodbye WebChat, here comes our NEW IRC server!!!

The Java based IRC-Chat (under the Who's Online menu), is now hosted on our very own Wargamer server! It's also on Port21, which is a common port so that firewalls wont block access to it. (still uses default IRC port as well for mIRC users).

Those wanting to use mIRC, just type /server irc.waronline.net
Then /join #waronline

I've also created a #Trivia channel, which has a cool trivia-bot.

And i've also updated the menu-list on the Who's Online page to show a current list of who's in IRC. So this means discussions will be much easier and faster than the old WEB-Chat.

Note the dates on Req's posts...


To join IRC using an IRC program like Mirc or Ircle, type

/server irc.waronline.net

then to join the room, type

/join #waronline

You can also make a private room by typing
/join #yournewroomname

The room lasts for 30 days if it is unattended, indefinitely if used.

Or use the IRC Chat link on the Who's Online page to use the in-game IRC, which many can't get in with, or it is very slow to connect.
