| Posted : Sunday, 1 September 2002 - 03:52 Well, I believe I've fixed the server problems.
As such, I've now started the game updates again.
Should the server have any more longterm troubles, we can look at pausing them again. But I think everything should run smoothly now, if not better than before. |

| Posted : Sunday, 8 September 2002 - 10:17 Req, Don't know if anybody else is experiencing problems, but wanted to post just in case. I have been losing connection to the site more frequently over the past few days, also movements are taking longer, sometimes the map has to be closed and then reopened to complete. Again, don't know if if this is happening to anyone else, but it seems to be getting worse over the past 2-4 days. 8) | | Gutterfly Joined 19/01/2002 Posts : 1877
| Posted : Sunday, 8 September 2002 - 11:17 Its taking me quite awhile to go through the forums again. Things seem to be slowing down. You sure you get everything fixed? | | Morbius Joined 15/07/2001 Posts : 3923
| Posted : Sunday, 8 September 2002 - 12:36 yes, its not too fast anymore. and ive also lost connection several times over the last 2 days. a bit annoying, sometimes. checking the forums takes rather long ... | | Requiem [R]Joined 3/02/2000 Posts : 4882
| Posted : Sunday, 8 September 2002 - 17:47 yes, the major bug was fixed, but there are still some problems.
eventually, the server seems to run out of resources, and so things slow down. i believe there is still a problem with the wargamer site, and it leaks memory/resourcs.
i'm talking to the guys to try and get their stuff re-coded as their current site has very poor code and i'm sure thats where the problem occurs. | | CTDXXX Joined 19/11/2001 Posts : 5842

| Posted : Monday, 9 September 2002 - 13:40 Actually, I was talking about the slow-down, which I've also noticed. The market troubles are quite different - and do need solving. Just hope we have it caught soon :-) |
