| Posted : Friday, 25 October 2002 - 22:35 Well, I had a quick look at this weekend, and I THINK it might be fixed now.
I think it was simply due to the markets running out of Gems, and thus giving a divide by zero error.
I'm not really back yet, but hope to be soon... Looking for ways to pay my rent/bills... :\ |

| Posted : Sunday, 27 October 2002 - 09:28 in germany we have summer and winter time. theres a difference of one hour, and todays the day when this stuff kicked in. dunno where the server is hosted, so they might have the same change of time, there. but its a bit weird nonetheless, since a turn is supposed to be 12 hours (for example) and not sometimes more and sometimes less.

| Posted : Monday, 28 October 2002 - 00:17 The majority of the US too. We call it Daylight Savings Time. Thus when you see the 4 primary time zones in the US they are called EST (Eastern Standard Time) or EDT (eastern Daylight savings Time). Oh also the other 3 are CST (central), MST (mountain) and PST (Pacific). There are a few places in the US where daylight savings time is not reconized. They never change to it and are always on standard time.
The concept was the creation of Benjamin Franklin. Don't know if he got it from Europe, or the rest of the world got it from him. |

| Posted : Monday, 28 October 2002 - 16:23 we in arizona don't follow with the daylight savings. Why addust your time peices to a new set time? You want a little electrical clock running your life? or would you rather run your own life by where the sun is in the sky, the temp, and the amount of light in a given area. Not some time piece saying that it is time for bed when there is still light or saying it's 5am and the sun is in the sky... |

| Posted : Monday, 28 October 2002 - 16:34 okay, i dont want to sound too selfrigteous or whatever, but since req doesnt want us to go real off-topic unless being in the chit-chat section, lets stop the daylight saving discussion
no offense meant. |
