It seems that after the end of this year (this horrible year)Flash will no longer be supported by browsers. That effectively means the end of Waronline because it uses a Flash driven map system.

I'm sure sorry to see it go. Even though it has dwindled over the years to a shadow of its former glory, it's still a great game and has a few dedicated players.

I've enjoyed so much of playing here, too. I learned quite a bit about tactics, communication, and clan camaraderie. Being the moderator of the forums made me deal with ethical issues I had never had to deal with before. Becoming the administrator gave me responsibilities and powers that added to the interest. I've made lasting friends.

Ultimately, Requiem should be thanked for his hard work over so many years. He made a truly fantastic game, ahead of its time. Thank you, Req.

I'd love to see the HTML5 version that Ultima Bahamut has been working on over the last few years. It's a massive undertaking, but he may make it happen!

I hope that the game sticks around even if it can't be played, for the forums if nothing else. It's a social scene of many years duration.

Today the site wasn't usable due to Flash being unsupported, as expected. I got directed to an information page telling me to uninstall Flash Player, which I'm going to do after I look at my own site.

SlowOx, our duel seems to be a tie! We'll never know what would have happened, but you played a good game, kept me on my toes and I don't know what the outcome would have been, although I suspect it would have remained a tie.

I love this game and community

I miss this game a lot more than I expected, it was a habit to check in daily. There's a hole left behind.

I booted up an old computer recently and there were a lot of screenshots from around 2004-5 on it. I should pick out some of them and post them on my website.

I could post other's shots, too.

I will see if I find something. I am certain LOD has some.
