I changed the Barbarians a little on the Admin site Requiem allows me to use.

I had noticed the weakness of Barbarians compared to other classes because of the lack of "specials". Requiem just didn't get around to adding many of them.

I change the Longbowmen's range from 7 to 9. Now they can compete with Ballistas.

I also changed the Crossbow Masters' range from 6 to 7.

Give it a try in a duel or battle if you like, tell me what you think. I thought, hey, 19 players, probably none of them using barbarians right now, why not change it?

I tried it in the training game and it is screwed up. The troops are somehow in their own class on the admin site where I changed the data, not in the same group as the other barbarians, and even if you buy them they don't show up as available in the barracks.

I wrote an email to Requiem about it tonight, I hope he fixes it! He always says I broke his game when something goes wrong, but this time it's true!

I caught up to Req on Facebook and he fixed the barbarian problem, plus they do have the increased range so they can compete with ballistas! Yay!

Will he now also fix the proving grouns so that we can test the new features?

I was lucky he fixed my boo-boo! Expecting him to come and work on this game is fruitless as the last few years have proven. I'm sorry, I know the game needs some tuning up. I do ask him to drop in and say Hi at least!
