I've never bought it because the text says "an extra 5 per turn." Is that accurate?

If that's the case, it would take 10 turns to produce an extra basic troop...and almost half the game for an extra advanced troop?

I feel it should be boosted to make it a more conceivable option.

If you get all the techs and upgrades it goes from 50 to 75
an extra troop for every 2 built

But can you afford to deploy those troops after you just spent $20,000 on the techs?

I always liked a larger map with more armies,
and having more ways to to increase production.
If your army is 6 turns move or more from the nearest barracks, then builing new barracks may be justified.
If you have a commander far from the nearest barracks, then you would be building barracks with advanced training which would allow faster and greater prodction,just where you need it

I agree with Zandorr on his last reply,we should use bigger maps with 12 to 20 players more often,some extra castles on the map and a higher production rate from barracks,resource buildings or a little reduction in the cost of troops. But like Mog said before,Req probably will not tweek this game any more.
