My understanding of the 'end game' option is that when 2-3 players remain and all vote to 'end game'...the game will end with current standings.
Evidently, two other players and I have attempted to use this option and it appears the voting is not being accepted or registered....anybody else had this problem??

Yep, I know that's how it's supposed to work...this game has all three players saying they've voted (me being one of the three) but the game didn't end.
One of the three also promised to not attack another, until we could determine if there was some type of problem...he attacked anyway...so perhaps if one lies about one thing they'll also lie about another.

I'm in a campaign w/ Harley & Henry IX . Having the same problem.

Keep playing the game,even after U voted to end it. That's the best soulution at this time.

Any luck on the game closing ?

I have voted to end every turn and have always kept promises but having been ganged up on by henry and leo I just quit this ends the problem for me appearently my treaty
With Henry was written in disapearing ink
and what I told sugar is that I would not KEEP attacking
We have had an equal # of attacking turns my last attack was before reading his post.
To accuse one of lying is crude.

I guess that is sort of a solution. If you trust the other players not to take advantage and kill off all of your black troops for points, you could all just quit. Or you could quit in 3, 2, 1 order to be sure the rankings won't change.

Yes, Hwatta....that 'could' have been an option if trust had not been killed between us (since it now appears that another change from previous versions is that one can quit and still maintain their ranking now).

As the return response to my message shows, a statement was made and then broken...there's no reference to 'keep' attacking...and even if, he DID 'keep' attacking...so, of course, with what I had left, I started attacking back with my greatly diminished troops after his 'free shot'...

So, in summary, appears we have a 'broken' quit game option.

EDIT: One additional comment, we've all heard the statement (after some action was taken)..."I didn't read your 'post/msg' until AFTER.."...I moved/attacked or whatever the case may be.....I recommend that all players make a habit of checking your messages BEFORE you take in-game actions. It's an easy excuse to use when you make a statement as this.....so read your messages prior....then no mistakes will be made...unintentional or otherwise.

It should be well understood that developing trust is very important in this game. Earning respect is what will be accomplished.
