Should we be allowed to destroy our castle at the early stages, to build up tech points? It's not fair to the new peeps, who R trying to play the game the old fashion way. I see why I've been falling behind so early in my latest games. Yes the game has evolved, but we still need new peeps,to keep it growing. Or better yet,it's survival.

I think he is getting at the gold one recieves for tearing down a castle, it allows more spending on techs (or troops).

well I think that's perfectly fair. if you tear down your castle, you take the risk of making it very easy for someone to march in and take it. it's a gamble to do it. you get a jump-start in gold, but sacrifice potential defense.

That's part of 'learning' the game....

As Li stated, it's a risk....but can be used as an early advantage...still about 'balance' and experience...there's no game ever invented that a new player can know all the 'in's and out's' at the start.
