The game is showing 2 active players from the UK: Harold1 and Harold2. It must just be a login problem if you can't access the game. It says you exist.

i gave up...
ive adjusted to the newer version just fine anyway...
but to say the newer version is easier is an unfair statement... its a totally different game now...obviously some folks had a tough time adjusting to the newer version... how is lod to judge at all if he doesn't play NEW SCHOOL at all...

i think if lod played in the mega clan wars over the past two years... he would realize this is still a damn awesome game...

personally i think this will split members into two groups...old school and new school...making it even more difficult to get a decent game going...

Considering that it's already next to impossible to get a good game going i don't think this will matter much. If anything it might bring back some older players that might decide to stick around for a bit.

We could use some more players to get a ten player game going. If you go sign up at

classic.waronline.net/main.asp

you can then go to Games>Campaigns and choose General from the drop down menu and click Update, then select Slow 1 to join.

You have to log in every few days to remain an "active" member of the queue. Once you log in (like I did today), you're automatically back in the queue for the game.

That said, it will be a miracle if this game actually starts.

count me in. I joined in 2007 or so, so this is foreign to me. I hear so much about the beloved old version I'm very curious to play.

Best I can tell is that the only way you can get involved with this 2005 version is if you were already a member of it and you either still have your old id and password or can at least remember it;

So Lod, don't know how the hey you got me committed to a game, but I've got my doubts there's enough of us that can get it filled.

there aren't enough people from 2005 around. if newer signups were possible, MAYBE it could get filled... but it seems that can't happen without Req personally giving you your default password since his emailer is broken on that end.

Ok, Req made me an admin on the classic site. I enabled all the disabled players. There are currently 6 players registered there including me and Requiem, so not enough for a game.

If you wish to register there and you have a problem I can probably help.

that's right everyone... if you registered for Classic WoL but CAN'T log in, PM Mog and he will reset your password for you. He did so for me and it worked perfectly.

If you had an account in 2005 but don't remember what PW you had back then, also PM Mog for a password reset.

If you had an account back in 2005 and DO remember your login details, just login and it should work without issue. If there is an issue, contact Mog.

If you did NOT have an account back in 2005 sign up for a fresh and then PM Mog so you can get a default password for logging in.
