| Posted : Wednesday, 20 October 2010 - 19:45 I remember this happening before when the starting troops were medi, but the player choose demons for his class and produced demon troops. I thought that it was fixed though. Is it in your duel? |

I'm not to worried about it though. I have my entire starting army and some marks right outside of his castle. Its just wierd to see a commander and a scorpies defending the castle. lol |

| Posted : Thursday, 21 October 2010 - 00:45 I think in camps, even if you choose other than medi for your troops , you still start with a medi castle with medi starting group but all your new troops produced will be of the type you chose, Did not think this was a bug as i see it alot |

| Posted : Tuesday, 1 February 2011 - 05:49 Hi, I'm a new player here and I have a different "is this a bug" question, hope no one minds me posting it here since it seems relevant.
I was playing in the "proving grounds" and decided to quit that game because I spawned in the middle of a heavily fortified castle that the top ranking player was obviously in control of before I got there. I went to try my luck to see if I could get a different game of "proving grounds" with a at least a sliver of hope to survive. So I did manage to get into a position I could at least deal with. After I had already taken 1.5 turns(some of my units get a turn when the others don't, I don't know if the turns are based off of how long that particular unit last made its move or if some of my units are missing/getting extra turns), I noticed while looking around in the game news that I had "quit" the game I'm currently in before I joined it (again). I thought because the warning when I quit said that I won't be able to join the same game again that I wouldn't be able to just "restart" in the same game.
I'm worried that if I continue to play in that game it will be seen as abuse of a bug, or is it intended that players be able to start and "restart" proving grounds games? That would seem really cheap if it was intended no? |

| Posted : Tuesday, 1 February 2011 - 16:00 There are only two proving grounds games going on at any time, one for players with campaign rank below 50 and the other for those above. You quit, you rejoin the game in progress, hopefully in a different castle. It is not abusing a bug to do so.

| Posted : Tuesday, 1 February 2011 - 16:38 bahlum ,, dont worry ,it's great your trying out the place - you can rely on Mog for the technical stuff . All I can say is ,it's all down to timing ,it's pot luck what time you land in to the proving grounds ,but there's every chance of landing next to someone who (with some careful negotiation ) take you under their wing and help you out ,,,they're a friendly bunch here ,and well worth persivering with . your troops movements take a bit of getting used too but look at the colors 3 colors three movements .- green = move and then attack... . amber attack or move only......red no moves . and you get 2 moves (per army) every turn ..it has always confused me that ..even with this situation ...even with one turn a day ....your turns gradually build up over the 24 hour (1 turn a day) period . like i mean ..... if you check the game over the 24 hour period ...your troops suddenly go amber . then eventually (24hours) you get your full move (green) maybe Mog (or anyone else) can shed some light on this for us Noobs Last Edited : Tuesday, 1 February 2011 - 16:43 | mrbaddude Joined 24/07/2005 Posts : 4

| Posted : Saturday, 2 April 2011 - 22:53 I would imagine if a demonic player took over a medieval castle with barracks or vice versa he would have access to both troop types. | | Harold1 DoCJoined 21/04/2007 Posts : 1977
