In clan games certain things are allowed that aren't allowed in regular games, such as capturing buildings while close to a different player and moving through other's troops.
If you want to play a "friendly" game (no rank involved) on a larger map and have multiple clans you can, but you won't get the movement stuff. |

Perhaps each clan could have a different color, ( players change their base color ).. then they would automatically be on same team. Give non clan members or beginners a separate color, then individuals could form some sort of bond with other players.

| Posted : Friday, 16 July 2010 - 22:45 I think you are talking about the Team Game, not the Proving Ground. In the team game there are two colors, blue and red and you get assigned to one randomly, it is similar to a clan game but not exactly.
Calpurnius, I'd offer to let you in the Dominion of Clowns clan but it isn't very active currently, although most of the members would join in a game if one was seriously offered to us, I think. |

I remember the top active players were all one color, and I was the opposite.
Couldn't more colors be added for all clans to participate.
Each clan would have it's own color.
I am in a clan, no clan only communications or clan fights. was tryiung to think of ways to build a bond between clan mates.

| Posted : Sunday, 18 July 2010 - 12:58 I agree with Cal,clans should be able to choose their own colors in clan based games. And heavy recruitment of non clan members is the only way to build the excitement of clan membership back up. It's tedious and time consuming, but someone has to dedicate themselves to put in the time. It could take a whole week just to recruit 10 people. But if that's what it takes, then do it. | | Nebuchadnezer DoCJoined 9/06/2005 Posts : 3017
| Posted : Friday, 23 July 2010 - 19:55 If you are starting a clan, you really need to have your own independant message board...away from this site. Share your ideas, your experiences, your strategies. That's what will make a clan strong and build a team. The clans that worked the best in the past; CoC, BoS, AAA...all had their own sites that ran really well. Communication is key to keeping people interested. Communication is the key to winning clan games. Communication is the key to having fun. At the height of its empire, CoC was the best clan to be in. I know/knew Mog, Coopels and Sage better than anyone here (most everyone anyway). We'd spend hours in IRC, just chatting and joking. And when it came time to fight, we communicated like no other clan.
You reap what you sow.
Those are my suggestions to the new clans. | | SIMONSAYSDIE Joined 29/11/2008 Posts : 1072

| Posted : Monday, 26 July 2010 - 08:08 Any clans interested in a Clan Game. How about four teams, with 3 - 5 per team. I see that there are maps that can play 12,16,or 20 players. Each clan would choose to play the same color. No combat etiquette, anyone not in your clan ( color ) is the enemy. Smaller clans not able to form a team, could combine. I noticed there is an option to select "clan game" on maps, will that allow more then two clans to participate ? Last Edited : Monday, 26 July 2010 - 08:17 | Trotsky Joined 13/07/2009 Posts : 254
| Posted : Monday, 26 July 2010 - 16:21 Want to do a dry run w/ the Viking Villages camp ? I'm the only one on there so far, and it would be good practice if someone is worrying about clan stats ( which I'm not ). Just have to declare which side you're on if a non-clan member. It's a thought . | | Mog DoCJoined 5/02/2004 Posts : 14359

| Posted : Thursday, 12 August 2010 - 19:27 I'm pretty certain that is the case... you could email requiem if you must know, but he may not answer very quickly.
