13th question?
(Simonsaysdie: it doesn't roll on wheels. I was actually giving you extra information by saying it doesn't have tires. I may have to go to just answering yes or no here, because you guys expect WAY too much info with your questions, many of which are not "yes or no" questions, such as "person place or thing?" which I could just as easily answer "yes"!
For example, does a helicopter have wheels? Well, maybe it does somewhere but if I asked you that, and it was a yes or no question, you'd pretty much have to answer "no", wouldn't you? Wheels can be just circular objects, like spinning wheels, steering wheels or a ship's wheel. None of those are used like a car uses wheels. "Does it roll on wheels" would have been the right way to phrase the question in the first place, not "does it have wheels." I am right, and you are wrong. As usual! )
(Here's another rant: "Do people ride in it?" implies current use. I had to answer "yes, but not anymore" where I could have been mean and answered "no" since no one rides in it now. I'm trying to make the point that I answer as fully as I think I can without giving away the answer. If I explain every answer I give, you will know what the item is! So, please be happy I give full answers as far as possible (NOT misleading, but technically "true", answers). | Posted : Sunday, 15 November 2009 - 07:00 Just a lucky guess Wow 825 tons of coal per day is a lot of coal to shovel every day...those poor coal shovelers | | Mog DoCJoined 5/02/2004 Posts : 14358
| Posted : Sunday, 15 November 2009 - 20:30 One fact that amazed me about the ship was the cost of passage on it. A first class top end one way ticket across the Atlantic was the equivalent of $96,000 in current money! Imagine paying that much just to get across the pond ONCE! And, even still, no one did. | | Pict Joined 27/10/2007 Posts : 589
