The only time this was an issue, was the actuall night it changed, or if you live in a country that doesn't practice DST.
On the night it changed, we were able to play our turn for 2 hours, if you didn't play in that space, you then had to wait the extra hour to take your turn. Now, asumeing your clocks are changed to the actuall time, you can play at the same times you've always played at.
For anyone that doesn't live with DST, your turns are now an hour later, untill March 8th 2010. It is at this point that there will be an actuall "bug" since we will all get double income as happened last time DST began.

| Posted : Monday, 2 November 2009 - 19:51 Not quite - DST in the States doesn't happen at exactly the same dates as the rest of the world. For example, players in the UK will find the turn tick time to be out from the normal time for a week, both Spring and Autumn | | Mog DoCJoined 5/02/2004 Posts : 14358
| Posted : Monday, 2 November 2009 - 20:31 Stupid daylight savings time!!! It needs to go away, it is nothing but a huge pain in my butt every year. I am not a farmer, don't need to harvest anything. Plus, it doesn't make any sense, shorter days in winter?? C'mon!
I guess this could have gone in the other rant thread... but it's too dark to see it! | | Disturbedyang Joined 27/01/2003 Posts : 566

| Posted : Friday, 6 November 2009 - 05:45 it doesn't make the days shorter, get up earlier and you will know what i mean. I sure know what i mean It was supposed to make it to where the daylight was earlier in the day when normal people were awake. 4-5AM until 9-10PM | | Hambone Joined 27/12/2008 Posts : 329
| Posted : Friday, 6 November 2009 - 21:56 Don't you mean it makes daylight later in the day? (When DST begins in the spring, it becomes light on the way home from work at 5pm, when it ends in autumn, it becomes dark at 5pm).
It's all down to our 9-5 work day, and the fact that most people get up just in time (or later, in my case) to go to work, but stay up for hours after work. DST gives us more daylight in the evening, to enjoy some outside activity (those of us that don't spend all their evening hours inside playing WoL, at least). |
