I find myself wishing i could play either the team games or proving grounds or even both, but i most often find that i can't manage the 2 turns a day that both are set to. I was wondering if this prevents anyone else from playing these games?

Perhaps if it does an alternative could be put into action that allows for both 1 turn and 2 turns to be played and a player would simply choose which speed they would like to play from the join link. If this is a terrible idea than just ignore this and go about your normal, daily lives and have a nice day.

This is a very valid statement. I too have issues with 2 turns a day. I think the PG game is actually too big. Someone that gets in early ends up with a massive army which can take over an hour to move. I ended up quiting the PG game I was in because I didn't have the time to commit twice a day to play.

I don't actually have an issue makeing my turns; but my woman does

Single turn a day versions of those bigger games, would make HER much happier

I've set TeamTrial back to 1T/day.

I can also set the PG games back to 1T/day if people would prefer that.

The purpose of the PG game was to give new members a quick game to help get their feet wet so to speak
and imho it has done that well.

Of course tho,
it has also turned out to be a likeable game;
but it's also questionable how well it will do it's intended purpose at it's new game speed.

Inasmuch as it is a likeable game,
I was considering trying the new changes in it;
but I happen to prefer 12 hour turns.

Why the need to make the PG game that is intended for training and doesn't even count a 24 hour turn game is beyond me.

However, because I'm among those who have enjoyed the PG game, I'm taking this opportunity to repeat my request that a smaller version of the PG game be made available customizable as a general enter anytime FFA game unranked or however doesn't matter to me.

Would it be hard to make a campaign option, to allow "drop in" players if the campaign itself is unranked? Then you could host with those 20 or 25 player maps.

Yep, that would be complicated to do right now.

The other issue is, we already have too many different game types/speeds which makes it take even longer to start games.

We just dont have enough players to have so many diff game types/speeds

Requiem,
as I recall, there's a 40 player map somewhere in the back of your WoL repertoire of programming files

and So wouldn't it also just be a matter of some numerical tweaks in order to apply the present PG programming to it except with room for only 40,
12 hour turns
and elevated rank restriction?

You hear it being said:
they love the PG game ...
folks can't help their preferences.
