| Posted : Saturday, 29 August 2009 - 05:40 Does those buildings enhancement tech still work? Those in the blacksmith category where the buildings' health is improved? And is it still true that you can take over with a normal army if the enemy did not upgrade the castle protection tech? |

| Posted : Saturday, 29 August 2009 - 07:26 It still helps the health, of new buildings of course. I don't think normal units can take over a castle though, i may be wrong |

| Posted : Saturday, 29 August 2009 - 08:15 I think you are right. Only comms can take over the castle or other buildings. Increasing the health of bldgs may make it so a comm can't take over in one turn. Haven't tried that.

| Posted : Saturday, 29 August 2009 - 10:03 so the "Castle Protection - Castle Protection prevents normal troops from taking over an empty castle" is technically useless except to get the castle defense eh?
And is this correct? "Advanced Weapons 1 - Master Weapons grants troops a further +10 to Attack skill." Was suppose to be +5 only, right?
And what's the normal visible range for army and outpost without any upgrade?
And one last thing since i'm at it. Spy network is (still) so useless? The only thing i get is the last action time and the amount of army he has. Not too useful if you ask me.
Oh, yeah. One more thing. Haha. How is the score calculated nowadays? I think i saw some thread about this before but don't know where it is(I'm just too lazy to find. Heh!)

| Posted : Saturday, 29 August 2009 - 11:25 outpost is 15 hexes sight range, you can find it under help>online manual. I thought that the character sight range was there too but it is not. I do know the scouts sight is 11 and it is the highest but i do not know the others or how to find out that information short of starting a training game and finding out one by one. |

| Posted : Saturday, 29 August 2009 - 12:06 I believe ALL troops have a sight range of 9 to start and this can be modified up to +3 with the sight techs. Scouts are unique in that they can MOVE 11, but they can't SEE where they are going the last two hexes (assuming movement in a straight line). |

| Posted : Saturday, 29 August 2009 - 12:08 i know for a fact that ballista and most barbarian troops sight range is less than 9, i don't think it is 9 for cats or a lot of other troops either |

| Posted : Saturday, 29 August 2009 - 14:24 They ALL have the same sight range. Even though balis and cats can see 9 hexes, they can only target things within 8 hexes of of any troop. So, while a bali in a tower can see 9 hexes, it can't shoot a troop 9 hexes away unless it has a "spotter" within 8 hexes of that enemy troop. |

| Posted : Saturday, 29 August 2009 - 15:48 Hmmm...ballis in a tower = 10 hexes, right?
Then how is the military ready time calculated? I've seen a few time when it says about 6hrs 15mins left to ready but when i log in about 5 hrs 30 mins, it is ready.
and how do you calculate the damage that can be done? Ie. atk and def value vs damage done?
and what about my other questions????..ahhhh.... |

| Posted : Saturday, 29 August 2009 - 17:20 Just to answer Disturbed Yangs original question that no-one has touched on. The blacksmith techs do work except for 1 hitch...when you get architecture you will lose the abilities to build stone walls. I have a message for you from someone ..i dont understand ,but he tells me to tell you " you go for it lion Heart" Cheers Angie |

| Posted : Saturday, 29 August 2009 - 21:56 Hmmm, a bit weird on that. So there's no point of getting architecture(if only we actually research it) then... Hmmm, i don't understand that either. Why can't he tell me directly? |
