Can anyone explain to me how is this possible? (look at the damage)

1.Your army, Catapults_1, was attacked by yyy : Catapults_1.
Catapults_1(96,28) = Wounds : 0.0, Killed : 0, Exp : 975
Catapults_1(107,28) = Wounds : 403.7, Killed : 6, Exp : 0.

2.Your army, Catapults_3, attacked zzz : Catapults_1
Catapults_3(141,102) = Wounds : 0.0, Killed : 0, Exp : 344.5
Catapults_1(131,91) = Wounds : 85.5, Killed : 2, Exp : 0.

Your army, Catapults_1, attacked zzz : Catapults_1
Catapults_1(139,102) = Wounds : 0.0, Killed : 0, Exp : 165.75
Catapults_1(131,91) = Wounds : 87.6, Killed : 1, Exp : 0.


all 3 attacks were made from towers(from 10-11 range), the damaged cats where not in towers. 10 pop cats everywhere. the damaged cat from the last 2 attacks was inside its castle.

first attack did a 5 times bigger damage than the last 2 !?!?

I also find my units that attack without moving do more damage than the ones that move then attack...

well, yes commanders around since they are building towers, and all moving and then shooting, and the def/attack techs aprox the same. the only important difference was that 1 of the damaged cat was inside its castle, but that should not generate a 5 time smaller damage.

Modified attack strength of attacking cat and modified defence strength of defending cats?

In camp_10912 I attacked with 10 pop cat, in tower w nearby comm, modified attack 71 against 10 pop cat, modified defence 21. Result - killed 7 of the 10 cat!

So I think that the difference (or ratio) of att to defence modifies the amount of damage.
Cat attack: 14
Modifiers: +35 for full attack tech
+20 for 10 pop comm within 3 hexes
+1 per level above level 1
I'm pretty sure being in tower has more effect than barracks, say +20 for tower and +10 for barracks.

I thnk also that you need a commandeer with moves left to gain the comm bonus, so if you want to build a tower, move a cat in and get a bonus since the rule change you need 2 commandeers.

Anyone like to correct me on the figures?

I haven't noticed any discernable difference between a red dot comm and a yellow or green dot comm as far as bonus is concerned, but I could use confirmation on that.

There isn't any difference as far as the comm attack bonus goes between having moves left or not. It's a standard radius of 3 hexes and a +1 attack for every full health pop of comms.
