Once a Commandeer has built, it can no longer move or attack that turn, but may continue building from that position. It may:

1.Build where it is, as much as possible. Turn ends for that comm.
OR
2.Move and then build as much as possible. Turn ends for that comm.
OR
3.Move, then move again. Then build. Turn ends for that comm.
OR
4.Move, attack, then build. Turn ends for that comm.

Currently it can build/move/build/move. That would no longer be possible.

Use a complete sentence and punctuation and you may well get an answer to your existential question.

Isn't he asking:
"why" have there been building changes made to the commandeer?

My answer "Ratboy06" is that Requiem played the game for a while and apparently felt that the commandeer needed a bit more spring in its step

and I couldn't agree more.

PS:
Please translate "a bit more spring in its step" as *to be able to do more during a turn*.

Define build as much as possible. I thought that it can only build once regardless of the buildings? Or does palisades and walls take a shorter time to build and hence more can be built?

Well admittedly I don't have all of the answers and as a matter of fact due to my absence, I'm quite behind;

but I do believe that the commandeer was quite a waste prior to this change

and has now become quite an asset.

However, I'll agree that it may be argueable as to how much of an asset is too much.

The commandeer once was a weak troop that could do one thing a turn, like move, build or repair stuff.

Then a while back he was turned into a reasonable fighter and a prodigious builder, capable of building a number of buildings, then moving and building even more, then moving one more time!

Now the commandeer can build, or move and build, or move and move and build. It is an adjustment to slow down rampant defense building a bit. Comms were able to put up entire great walls of China in one turn as it was. Now they can only put up HALF a great wall!

As soon as they build, they can no longer move that turn. They can build as much as they want from that spot.

So repair is considered in the building category i suppose?
And what determines how much the commandeer can build? All the spots around him?

Yes, repair is considered a build action.

Commandeers can build as much as possible within reach.

From what I have seen (& someone please correct me if I am wrong) a repair uses up all build capabilities so you cannot repair more than on building within reach and you cannot repair then build beside.

You're right that you cannot repair more than one building, but you can repair then build still. Basically, if your comm is red you can still build, but you just can't move.

Yeap, I think i can confirm that. Repair is categorized as end of the "moving" part.

It does seem that you cannot take over a building and then repair it however.

because once you start building...you can't move anymore

Not moving. Take over gold mine and then window pops up to repair while your standing there, but you can't. you have to wait until the next turn.

I know. That is why i said the "repair" is categorized as "moving" so once you started building or taking-over which is categorized as "building", you can't move or repair anymore. I would assume so...?

i believe there has been a few circumstances where i built...then moved before refreshing...and my comm moved...doesn't work everytime...could be a bug... try it with a piece away from danger...
