I just got a message from Adobe that said a new version of Flash Player is available and it asked me to update... since it said it had security fixed and whatnot, I decided to download and install the upgrade.

What happens now? I can't play WoL. None of the Flash objects will load under this new version and it now thinks I don't even have Flash installed! What do I do?

well, I'm using Opera, so I dunno if that makes a difference, but I will try to cache clear

nope. no go. cleared cache, but it still says I need to download Flash. I even tried re-downloading it from the site it takes me to when it tells me that. install, reload... asks me to install again.

I can't play WoL as it stands.

Actually, Firefox isn't the answer. I tried that as well and it also did not load Flash. The lastest Flash plugin is for both Opera and Firefox (and Safari, but I dun use that).

Opera has always served me a lot better than Firefox anyway, so I'll still with the better browser.

I guess I could try a complete removal... I hope that works. I'll report back with the results after I check back tomorrow, but it's late now.

EDIT: the complete removal seems to have done the trick. Thanks, Princess!
