I would rather reward more aggressive play than something that pretends to reward skill. Kills/Loss ratio doesnt really show skill at all, as I have shown above.

Leveling up is a tricky one. I'm not sure on that one yet.
Yes macemen can level up to LVL10 just as fast as Spearmen, but each level means alot less to a Macement.

Going from 14 to 24 is only +71% increase.
Going from 6 to 16 is +166% increase.
So Spearmen get nearly triple their Attack value, and quadrupple their defense value, which is not too shabby for such a cheap troop.

but a macemen can get to lv10 much faster than a spearman in actuality because it can slaughter the lower tiers with ease to quickly gain that exp and the spearman has to use a LOT more attacks to do the same thing.

true, but then spearmen dont give much EXP when killed, and macemen do. not that spearmen would kill many macemen.

this is something i will look at in WoK

well when we go into beta testing and I get to see all the different unit types and how they work, I should be able to make some suggestions for you.
