| Posted : Thursday, 2 April 2009 - 14:09 I'm gonna need a bit of clarity because I'm not European or the most knowledgable of geography... The British Isles are Britain and Ireland, right? or is that the entire United Kingdom? (though I thought the UK included Scotland and Whales...)
and what does "one off item" mean? were you trying to say that it's one of a kind? | | Harold1 DoCJoined 21/04/2007 Posts : 1977
| Posted : Thursday, 2 April 2009 - 17:36 Sorry , The british Isles consists of England,Scotland, wales and Ireland and also some out lying islands but you are looking for a mainland item,
I say one off as in that this item is not copied in this form anywhere else, but there are others made the same way

| Posted : Friday, 3 April 2009 - 05:52 Just to narrow things down a bit - is it a man-made item?
If the answer to that is "Yes" then could it be:
Silbury Hill?
Hadrian's Wall?
The Cerne Abbas Giant?
The Uffington Horse?
The Long Man of Wilmington? | | Harold1 DoCJoined 21/04/2007 Posts : 1977

| Posted : Friday, 3 April 2009 - 12:09 You nade it too easy by saying it could be seen using Google earth.
Had to be something easily spotted from the air then...
BTW - thanks for the winning clue in Mog's 50th 20 Questions game. Was stumped until you mentioned anniversaries. |
