| Posted : Tuesday, 17 March 2009 - 23:30 I try to answer the questions as best I can. In this case, we're talking about something that is a class of objects, with the item not mattering as much as the intent or idea of the object. Since I'm not being specific, that is a clue. |

| Posted : Wednesday, 18 March 2009 - 07:37 Just to clarify question 7 An electronic devise almost always has a printed circuit board from my experience, which isn't a vast experience. Electro magnetic usually doesn't have a printed circuit board to my knowledge ,please correct me if im wrong,of course there are exceptions... but I cant make heads or tails out of indecisive answers to definite questions Moggy. I realize that electro magnetic wasn't in any questions but its only given as an example My clarification on this question is needed as the given answer is way to broad |

its man made, but not of wood, probably of metal, might have electronics, found on earth, size indeterminate but some probably fit in a shoe box...
is it a microscope? |

| Posted : Wednesday, 18 March 2009 - 13:33 well, Mog indicated that it is a class of objects rather than one specific object... so keep that in mind when guessing. |

It may or may not use electricity. Whether it is electrical or electronic should be covered by that statement.

| Posted : Thursday, 19 March 2009 - 01:00 That is a hard one to answer. It either means I have to use conjecture or do a ton of research I just don't want to do.
My conjecture is that this is a more modern item(s) than being from pre-1800. You already know this is usually a metallic item and of course this metal has been worked for many centuries, but I'm not sure if it has been used for this particular purpose for that long.

| Posted : Monday, 23 March 2009 - 06:11 This is not a guess, but it could be Mogs magic wand it seems to fit the description quite well,it's the extendable type so normally it would fit into a shoe box but when extended it wont fit into a shoebox. It may be electronic ,if Mog put the batteries in... 2 x AAA type but if there not in there it then wouldn't be electronic.
Im sorry Moggy but I think that I will just sit on the fence with this one. Cheers Angie |

| Posted : Monday, 23 March 2009 - 17:57 No, Crazy Li, I don't think it is a hobby item(s) but I suppose someone could concievably make these as a hobby... just unlikely.

| Posted : Monday, 23 March 2009 - 20:24 is it a machine, that is to say does it have moving parts?
and since im the only one guessing...
is it used for amusemnt? |
|

| Posted : Monday, 23 March 2009 - 20:36 Since this is a class of objects, like say "lawn tools" or "places with rubies", I can't rule out it being a machine or having moving parts, and it isn't meant as an amusement. A two-fer!
