| Posted : Sunday, 25 January 2009 - 10:50 i think waronline should, like other games, have a regular changelog. if i want to see all changes, id have to search the forums and read many, many, maaaany single update-posts.
another thing: in notice board i found topics like "Version 2.12 Released" but what version do we play at the moment? and shouldnt it be "Version b2.12 Released"? ;-) Last Edited : Sunday, 25 January 2009 - 10:54 | Mog DoCJoined 5/02/2004 Posts : 14358
| Posted : Sunday, 25 January 2009 - 18:32 That's a mighty good suggestion, Lofwyr. It could be in the form of a "Sticky" thread in the Notice forum. | | Requiem [R]Joined 3/02/2000 Posts : 4882
| Posted : Sunday, 25 January 2009 - 19:06 Normally, i had the "October 2008 - Updates" threads in Notice Board, which outlined all the changes since the previous "Updates" thread in the first post.
When I update the site, I will be able to create mutliple forums per area, so Notice Board can have a developer blog, updates, news, etc, forum. Bug Tracking could have website bugs, game bugs, etc...
As for versions, that is a tough one. The flash map has a version number, but thats about it. The game itself does not. Next big update though I will look at using version numbers for the game so we can keep track.
Who knows, I may even keep seperate backups of each major version! | | Lofwyr Joined 9/11/2008 Posts : 7
