-no-
-clarification: one could bring it into a workshop,
but one would not expect to find it there otherwise.
it is not a part of the workshop environment-

In summary:
1. It is man made.
2. Its not common enough for most people to use it.
3. It is smaller than 1 cubic metre.
4. It wouldn't normally be found in a workshop.
So it doesnt seem to be a household utensil (2),nor does it seem to be any sort of normal common tool (4) but it is man made (1).

Is it ornamental?

Is it electronic? And by electronic I mean something that uses electricity to operate something beyond transistor technology, like a computer chip or TV. Not a lamp, that would be electrical in my opinion.

Is it made of only one material? Such as all metal, all wood, all paper, etc.
