| Posted : Friday, 19 December 2008 - 23:31 I have just looked at the game history camp 32323 and it does seem by the amount of exp you have you should be higher up the rankings ,did you sell your tribute as you played ? also the game has ended twice ,on two different days , it might be that this camp is full of bugs in its self ... |

It's rather counter-intuitive that someone you've eliminated finishes above you on points. It looks like ratio of kills is a main determinant, so all you have to do is create some archers, kill a few enemy units without suffering casualties and quit the game and voila, WINNER! | Posted : Saturday, 20 December 2008 - 21:58 You sell tribute in the marketplace, in fact, it is the ONLY thing you can sell there.
Selling tribute in campaigns is a hard choice. The highest tribute holder is the number one position, so if you sell tribute you had better be sure you can get back on top due to income. To me, it is a last desperate ploy to hold a position with new troops bought with the income. | | Abraxas Joined 21/10/2008 Posts : 8

| Posted : Monday, 22 December 2008 - 23:43 As only tribute can now be traded in the marketplace it is the only way of boosting your income.
This can be useful at the beginning of a camp to give you a manpower advantage over neighbours - so you can take them out. You then get an improved tribute "income" with the additional resources you have from your new kingdom and this can help you to catch up with everyone else.
To maximise your tribute "income" you need to max out your resources (all resource buildings at 100%) but you need to balance sales of tribute against the additional income expected, time left in the game and tribute scores of the other players.
Above all, if you are going down and nothing will save you DO NOT sell tribute as you need to maintain the score you have built up. |
