| Posted : Thursday, 9 October 2008 - 05:30 yes, i had toyed with the idea of permanent retals, rather than the once per turn we have now.
Instead we could just multiply it by 70% each time starting at 100%... eg.. 100%, 70%, 49%, 34.3%, 24%, etc... at the start of next turn its back to 100%.

| Posted : Thursday, 9 October 2008 - 11:54 Requiem, the decreasing but still multiple retalliations sounds like it will be important to make the high-level troops more viable in campaigns. Cuz right now you can still hit a 10pop HC with a 10pop Spearman to absorb the retal, and then move in your other troops to do some real damage. This will cause some change in Battle tactics (to what extent I am unsure), but I think it is necessary for Campaigns.

P.S. As a side note, it should help Demons fare better against Medival/Barbs in battles. (If you're careful as Medi and have ranged, you can mess Demons up pretty bad in the current system if the map isn't too open). I've just returned after a forced absence and I see that markets have gone but I'm in the middle of two duels where I had built Market Places - do these buildings now have any purpose?

but I am in the process of adding a new use for them. they will be able to sell your TRIBUTE (your score points) for Gold.
The more markets you have, the better the price. |
