| Posted : Wednesday, 16 July 2008 - 19:58 well i wont post it as its way to long but if anyone wants to look into carl von clauzwits book "on war" i would highy recomend it having read both
i found it to be suprior to the art of war as it stresses logistics and attack over positoning and subterfuge
in short i belive the art of war is the victor on a battle feild until clauzwits shows up

However, you cant go far wrong if you just take the advice of Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest and "get there first with the most men".....it generally works! |

of cource how you get there and what condition your in when you arive are of great importence
what i realy like from forrest was the "split your forces and attack from both directions" command when he found himself outnumberd and surounded
i think that was one of the ballsiest calls in all of millitary history |
