I'm sort of a rookie but I have good teacher in mechdestroyer. Haven't played in a while but I'll play if there is no problem. Just let me know when.

Hello all,

I know where I am on the map PRIOR to the game starting - here is how you can figure it out:

First, click on the campaign to go to the game introduction screen, then click to go to your Game Window. Read the hex coordinates of the upper barracks.

Then, go to the map editor, type in map17 to load the dragon lakes base map, zoom out, and start watching the hex identifier as you mouse over the terrain and find the coordinates that match that of your upper barracks.

Compare that to the base map in Mog's Campaigns snapshots (Thread entitled "Maps close up" in the Suggestion Box)
and viola! You have identified your map location.

I will NOT disclose my whereabouts - yet!

Based on the line drawn on the 20 player map, I'd give the edge to the North players. They have 7 players on the border, compared to just 4 for the south team.

think an east/west game would've been more in balance, as biscuit points out.

hey on these team games what (if any) are the common curtsy rules between team members, or are they decided during play ?

the map was posted before the game started every one knew theire chances

I'll second Biscuit comment... Seems the Northen boys have an edge over their Southern counterpart...

I think its 7v5 on the boarder to north but two players only just touch lol

I for one have a very bad spot myself!!
And bravo the idea is really a two team clan war north and south so get and protect those `boarders` !!!

Harold, my question was in response to Dinoz post asking about " common curtousy rules " , team games have almost none and are basically a free for all.

Perhaps a fairer split for future games would be this East-West split.
