Neb, that would take more than 15 minutes, and my attention span won't stretch to that at the moment. But here's another little taste:

In this snippet there are icons to give a rough idea what each tech does, and coloured boxes show the construction of a building.

To be honest though, I wouldn't actually know enough about WoL to make a tree.

Uk_Ronin has it; what a color tech-tree display.

Actually, what is needed: dynamic flow charts, as they would assist players at accomplishing primary patterns of development during any event.

You know, the flow charts would be much more varied than a tech-tree, and with flow charts, you would pick your particular route or path of development, dependent--of course--on the type of game and the course of events in any particular game.

Tech-tree charts are fine since they can guide you in a general direction.

From cause to reaction, however, flow charts would guide behaviors at WOL events.

Here`s a link to the tech-map I started working on. When it looked like there were going to be some changes in the update I put it to one side.

The intention was to just allow clicking on the blocks and then have the tech information appear in a panel on the right.

I suppose it could be adapted to be more dynamic, but just in the sense that you could click to activate techs, and it would tell you which would be available to research next. Is that the kind of this you meant Sir_Anvil_Mark?

Although as I said before I`m not really qualified. I hadn`t even heard of metal reinforcement that was mentioned in another thread. But if someone who knows the tech-tree wants to get involved, let me know.

Move the arrow from Commerce>Tax Reform to Marketplace>Tax Reform, since you need a market first. Looks good though!

looks good, i like the little arrows to move it up and down lol, played with them for like 10 minsutes there haha
