| Posted : Monday, 16 October 2006 - 07:18 -----------------------BONUS ROUND!!!------------------------
The winner gets two points for this one because it is special. It is a four part puzzle this time. I will allow 40 questions for the first 3 parts, total. If you guess the first one, you go to the next, possibly saving many questions if you do good.
The first three items will suggest the fourth item. I will allow 10 extra questions or guesses for the fourth item also including any left over from the first three. However, after 40 questions, the 10 begin with or without knowing all three items.
I will even start you all out with some hints: One of the first three items is a (specific)vehicle, one is in every home and one is meant to be airtight . Not necessarily in that order and not necessarily exclusively to each. If you have questions about the rules, put them in parentheses, please.
OK, now on to finding the first of the three items. It isn't in every home.

| Posted : Monday, 16 October 2006 - 15:10 (You said that the three items were a vehicle, a common household object, and something meant to be airtight. You also said they weren't presented in any order. Then you said the first of the three items wasn't the common household item. Does this mean that we need to use up one question to determine whether the first item refers to the vehicle or the airtight object?) |

| Posted : Monday, 16 October 2006 - 21:21 (You have to guess the first before going on to the second, no matter how many turns it takes. You don't have to ask any questions you don't want to ask!)
It can fly but it cannot be airborne. (2nd question)
The first item does not flush. Others may, but this is about the first item only.(3rd question)

(The answer was as I intended, Corflu and is actually quite a hint if you think about it hard...)

Or maybe not.
I had a question here ("Is it a spacecraft?"), but I erased it after I thought about it some. The only spaceships I know of have wheels, and, at least for a while, are airborne as they travel through the atmosphere and into outer space. | Posted : Tuesday, 17 October 2006 - 04:07 So is it a space station? | | Greens Joined 8/09/2006 Posts : 75
| Posted : Tuesday, 17 October 2006 - 04:12 But a space station wouldn't really be a vehicle, would it? More like a habitation, or depot, I think.
I can think of only one kind of vehicle that doesn't have wheels, can fly, but isn't "air"borne... the lunar modules used by NASA to land on the surface of the moon. Last Edited : Tuesday, 17 October 2006 - 04:20 | midnightstalka Joined 26/02/2006 Posts : 475
| Posted : Tuesday, 17 October 2006 - 04:15 Thats what I was concerned with but unless the use of the word 'flys' is a bit odd I can't see anything else flying that isn't airborne. There are some people who would say that a penguin flys underwater but I feel they are just silly. The only other option is a satelite and they don't contain people so I though were even less of a vehicle. | | midnightstalka Joined 26/02/2006 Posts : 475
| Posted : Tuesday, 17 October 2006 - 04:17 Actually do we know its a vehicle we only know one of the first three is. The first one could be the airtight one which a space station would cover. | | Greens Joined 8/09/2006 Posts : 75
