Ok we have another backstabber amongst us. So Ill quit this game and delete all troops and buildings. Pithy that folks cant behave decently. 1 on 1 has always been the rule and if thats changing I will not play on.

Unfortunately, even veteran players started backstabbing...
In my campaign, when I was about to take a castle from a player, he asked another player to help him. I was attacked, and 2 of my armies were destroyed.
Fortunately, we agreed on how to address the situation, but it's not nice at all.
Lod, I don't think quitting is the response to backstabbing. Other players in the game need to join forces and destroy a backstabber (like we did in the good old days...)

I sure didnt want to hand out free exp to someone like that.

This was the situation. braque and Mog fought eachother and I took on Julian. Only two other players left in the game and they both decided to attack Mog and I. Julian and I were pretty well matched up noone realy had the upper hand. We both sat in towers aiming at eachother as best we could. Mellee troops sitting a bit behind to wait for their chance.
I built a barrack in the back of the battle field as Mmy castle was quite a distance away. All of a sudden a third player attaked and destroyed that barrack + as many other troops he could-. I found no reason to continue as I was outnumbered at least 2 to 1, possible 3 to one in troops. With one attacker on my back and all mellee and the other on my frontline. Any wise general would have capitulated when surrounded by strong forces. No free exp to backstabbers but to help my original opponent I left some towers to use against the new one.

In such a situation, I would invite Julian to join me and destroy the backstabber.
BTW, I believe we must know his name to be cautious playing with him.

If Julian would have had access to my attacker I would have, Gala-
Thing is my troops were locked inbetween there. Mountains and narrow gap like 4 hex between us. Julian would have needed a long detour to get involved as long as I was present. Several turns actually. A map we should never use again imo.
